We are excited to offer traditional Jewish prayer services on Capitol Hill at the Capitol Hill Synagogue in The Jemal Sanctuary.

For more than 50 years, Capitol Hill has been without a traditional synagogue, following the relocation of Southeast Hebrew Congregation to White Oak, Maryland, in 1971. We are honored and excited to help restore this important part of Jewish life, filling a long standing need and creating a warm, welcoming home for Jewish prayer, community, and connection on Capitol Hill. Whether you've attended synagogue in the past or this is your very first time, we'd be honored to welcome you. At Chabad, we don't have memberships because we believe every Jew is already a member. We look forward to welcoming you.
